Zombie Bug-Out Hike - Intermediate Level - All Ages - FREE EVENT

If the apocalypse happened today, and all the roads were choked with cars, would you be able to make it to your bug-out location? Test your legs by joining us on our Bug-Out Hike & Camp Out next weekend (April 18-19).
Here are the details:
Saturday April 18, 09:30 - Meet at Old Mill Station, Toronto - Weigh in bags 10:00 to approx 18:00 - Hike (includes breaks/lunch stop) North along the Humber River (You're welcome to insert anywhere along the trail if you don't wish to start at Bloor st.) 18:00 - Arrive at Thackeray Conservation Area (Kipling+Steeles) Set-up camp with zombie resistant barrier and collect fire wood. Sunday April 29, 10:00 - Tear down camp 11:00 - 18:00 - Hike back to Old Mill Station Things to bring: - Water/water filtration gear - Food (bars/snacks/MREs/canned soups/freeze dried) - The most comfortable footwear available - Extra socks and foot powder - Rain gear (should the weather get shitty) - Flash light/headlamp - Basic first aid kit - Toilet paper - Shelter/sleeping gear (tarp/tent/hammock/bivy/sleeping bag/ground mat/or build a debris shelter) Round trip is approx 36km. 18km each day.
