Once you've plotted your tactical route for your bug-out, you need to calculate how long it will take you to walk that distance. This is important, so you can break your route up into legs for each day, and figure out where you are going to set up camp. A good rule of thumb is to plan to travel 25 kilometers in a day.
I've heard that 5 kilometers takes 1 hour to walk, but that is at a consistent pace with no breaks. For our 50 km bugout, it took us an hour and a half (with breaks) for every 5 clicks on mostly even ground. If the terrain was was overly adverse, it would probably have taken us 2 hours for every 5 kms. So depending on the terrain, it's safe to expect 7.5 to 10 hours on the move, for a 25 kilometer leg.
Having said that, your 25 kilometer legs will not always finish on the ideal camping spot. You want to adjust your legs so that you end up in a good patch of bush with a source of water nearby every night you set up camp. This may mean doing 30 km one day, and 20 km another. The important part is knowing where you will end up at the end of the day, and not collapsing in the ditch because you think you've walked far enough for one day.
Soldier, out.
